The Brown Eyed Girl.

Part One – ‘The Start of Tragedy’

Born early spring. A beautiful baby girl. Full head of hair and wide brown eyes. So innocent so pure.

Her mother just turned 20 years old days prior. She is a beautiful disaster. She grew up in a home where her father was abusive. She ended up in foster care. A drop out. Living life with not much guidance. She fell in love with a man that was older. Her foster mother didn’t approve so she packed her things, moved in with him and was now a stay-at-home mom to his little boy. She loved them very much. She ended up pregnant at 19. Giving birth to a baby girl. Their family was growing. It was all she ever wanted. Until it wasn’t…

Drugs -alcohol- Deception- affairs-

She wanted so badly to believe that this baby girl was made with the man she loved. However, that was not the case. She knew exactly where those wide brown eyes came from. The much older neighbor. He had the same eyes though his were not innocent nor pure but worn and experienced. He was a Navy man, dark hair and mysterious brown eyes that looked like they had millions of stories. She was smitten and had fell into his arms more than once. When asked about the baby girls’ father she didn’t dare speak a word. The navy man thought nothing of it. Her love had his suspicions, and she knew the truth.

A few years passed and even though she loved him dearly that was not the case with him. He found himself in the arms of another woman. They went their separate ways. She took the baby and was on her own. She was an addict. This would lead to some of the first troubles of The Brown Eyed Girl.

At age 4 She was left home by herself. Crying and screaming for her mother. She woke up alone, confused and hungry. When her mother had returned the little girl was gone and replaced by police and Child Protective Services. Not only did she leave her child unattended the house was not fit for a child. Drugs laid around, the cupboards were empty, among other things it was the product of a single addicted mother.

She ended up with the same fate as her mother, in foster care and lost because she had been taking from her mother. The only person she had any connection with. Why was she in this home with these strangers? Where was her mother? She became increasingly angry with a temper that most foster moms refused to deal with. They would move her from home to home due to this. All the while her mother was trying to get clean. Going through hell fighting to get her daughter back…
